it's very interesting to me, because he's never strayed away from contemporary urban music. late nights had very accessible production. just because it's not an exact copy of what's playing on urban radio doesn't mean it won't be successful. his label is scared for no reason. i mean "**** u all the time" got airplay here and i don't think it was ever sent to radio

if they just let him pick the producers and write his own material everything would be fine.
unless he's trying to do some other type of sound i really don't see the issue
