I am wasn't that commercial. If I were a boy was huge risk for r&b star known for uptempo sexy music.
Whole I am side was opposite of what she has been doing and to her target market and fans.
Not to mention most songs on i am side wasn't radio friendly, big catchy songs.
And they weren't trend music.
Also iasf is more personel and relate to her than b'day was.
whole iam vs sasha 2cd was waste of money businness wise but show her artistic guts.

I duno, I just don't think I Am.. is very "Beyoncé". Perhaps she did want to test that music out for herself, but it obviously has not stuck with her. From DC - present the one thing that sticks out most is the I Am .. side, and yes it is a commercial side. Songs by Ryan Tedder and Toby Gad… pretty commercial stuff considerined Bleeding Love and Big Girls Don't Cry were huge songs from artists similar to Beyoncé.
