The 1975 are not a boyband, they are just a normal band. They write their own music and play their own instruments.
I wonder if they will make guest appearances with Taylor at her European concerts. They were asked before, but maybe it was too soon for them then. Now they have met her it might change things.

Great news about the Dick Clark Award for Excellence! It would have been weird seeing Taylor there watching 1D and Carrie Underwood and Katy Perry all picking up awards, without her receiving one. She received Artist of the Year last year and it is nice to see the AMAs recognise her for her incredible achievements over her career. Rihanna got the Icon Award last year, so these awards for career impact as opposed to just the past year, are all part of the mix.
Opening the show is fine. She can then relax and enjoy the show. More TayDancing gifs incoming.
