If an artist has only ever known a decline. If an artist's numbers have descreaed with every tour, they didn't have FORCE to take away in the first place.

Lady Gaga was touring force because she did it 1 year into her career. Like give me an example of an artist whose first 2 tours grossed 400M (in the artists' first 4 years) I am waiting.
And BTWB cemented Gaga's status.
Katy is riding on the success of half of the Teenage Dream era + PRISM + a lot of promo and singles throughout the past 3 years etc.
If her next tour is also this successful then OK, but y'all will have to wait
And BTWB is Gaga's most successful tour by far so she didn't decline after TFMB
BTWB has the highest average attendance and gross for a female tour of ALL time ONLY behind Madonna and Celine.
Ridiculous. By that logic, if you only have one Grammy you can't be called a "Grammy award-winning artist" and if you only have one #1 album you can't be called "an artist with a #1 album". So Meghan Trainor is now bigger singles force than Katy, Rihanna Gaga etc.
I'm not surprised it's done this well tho tbh. I'm surprised at the CD tour doing 59million when she had the biggest singles :O
CDT made 60m because tours usually represent the artist previous success. For example Katy had low prices during CDT because Capitol wasn't expecting huge attendance. The tour was like 98% sold-out. It's not that she couldn't sell tickets, but prices were too low.
During the new era Capitol knew she was going to sell-out everywhere so the tickets are more expensive plus she has a setlist that includes all her previous hits+ new ones.
at Katy making them change the meaning of Touring Force, now you need two >100M tours
