it would've made sense if Wes killed him then he took the crackhead to the hotel, but still the rest of the crew would be in the house thats the big problem, Wes came back to the house and Analise was there already and seen him dead then went to cover her tracks by sleeping with the officer and leaving the voicemail, completely exonerating herself.
