Gaga's previous era saw an opening week of more than a million (400,000 of which were 99 cent Amazon copies) and some top 10 hits which did well on the Hot 100. Plus she got acclaim. Yet with ARTPOP she declined and she has not received the same amount of praise or commercial success as 1989 by Taylor Swift. Why is that? Gaga is clearly as talented as Swift and has received Grammys so the critics have liked her in the past. But why not now? Why is 1989 better according to the critics and the album buyers?
ARTPOP, The era got off to a VERY rocky start bcoz of management issues & Gaga stopped promoting it in the middle of the era & then promoted again but it was too late.
She didn't execute it properly bcoz of which it couldn't reach its full potential
Yeah, because when Gaga doesn't get acclaim critics do not appreciate raw talent. But when other people don't, it is their fault for making basic music. Hmmmm.
