It's not even a funny joke. She's a principal in a position of power. It's not her business to be (re)tweeting unfunny jokes about her students. She should be setting an example of love and acceptance. Not to mention, it's just plain unprofessional.
She shouldn't be fired, but she (and the rest of the administration) needs to learn how hurtful something like that can be to kids. Especially coming from someone of her status.
Even more unacceptable that she chose to IGNORE them when they complained. The students did the right thing by standing up and walking out, and I bet you now that the media is involved she'll think twice before she does something disrespectful like that again.
