Madonna looks absolutely fine without photoshop on the red carpet and on stage when she wears the same amount of makeup. She looks amazing in footage filmed by FANS and pictures made by FANS, not photoshopped at all.
Obviously the first pic (if real and not photoshopped to make it look even worse) is a cause of bad lighting, otherwise the other pics of M wouldn't look as amazing. Just a bit of common sense.
Her body looks amazing.
Also kind of ironic how people make fun of madonna for these bad pics at the age of 56 while with other popstars who are 30 years younger and use tape and botox get a free pass. Once again.. ageism.

Ya'll don't want women to visit their surgeon, not use photoshop and still look like 12 when they're in their 50s.
Be happy that she's still this lean at this stage of her life. She looks terrific, better without the photoshop since that's actually her.
This is kind of a catch-22 for her. She wants to be unapologetic, but in this sexist and ageist culture that we live in (particularly in pop culture), she would be dragged to the moon and back for releasing her photos without any photoshop at all. At the same time, Madonna is a pioneer in these issues and should really be setting a better example. But beauty and sex sell, so can you really blame her for using an exorbitant amount of photoshop when you have pop girls that are 30 years her junior utilizing all the same tools as well? How is she supposed to even compete with that?
But is it even a competition? I mean, Madonna didn't promote MDNA at all. She just released an album so she can tour. And these tours of hers always outsell and out gross all of today's pop girls' tours.
