Everything comes to a head and nothing is coincidental. Once one scandal happens, people open their mouths about something similar. Bascially the topic as a whole becomes something to talk about.
Out of all the tv dads though, only two being currently involved in something is a pretty good number. Mike Brady had his share of drama and tragedy. I bet Phil Dunphey is hiding something too
