If you and your fave got so scared and threatened by Gaga because she only had superstardom for 2 years, imagine if someone else comes out having superstardom for more than 2 years You and your fave would be having panick attacks But I guess no one else did right ..

This isn't that embarrassing. Look back at the years of some of the biggest stars in music. They've all had select years with no noms/wins.

They're more about popularity (with the exception of the grammys) All of the major award shows both nominations and actual awards have been fan voted since the early 2000's.

The grmmays are still Academy voted by a committee of people within the industry so the people that are downplaying the grammys are just talking non-sense.

I know most of the monsters expected some noms but you shouldn't really expect noms and wins for a general edm album that deals with sex, money, fame and wealth. - I'm sure the Academy (in the case of the grammys) take into consideration growth as an artist and ARTPOP doesn't really display any growth. Born this way, was great RE: awards. The pronlem though is that the lead singles controversy overshaddowed everything and that's really her own fault.

Awards will come when she moves into another area of pop. Not similar to the TF or the TFM as a way to reproduce the success of the days of yore but something new and different but it's a risk. She might shoot back up or the GP might hate it. The question is, is she willing to take that risk or continue down this path.

The logic that anyone from the fan base I belong to or my fave ever felt threatened is a ridiclious notion.

First of all, others have achieved superstardom for more than 2 years. Were you born in the 2000's or something? - embarassing.
Britney, Xtina, Shania Twain (who has one of the best selling albums of all time) - I mean. I could go on. My fave has done nothing but supporr these artists.

You see, My fave currently sits (as per billboard and every other source) as the most sucessful female in music. If my fave didn't exist, your fave would move up one place. If your fave didn't exist ours wouldn't move anywhere.

It makes much more sense that you were threatened. Why? because you desperatly wanted someone you identified with due to an emotional connection with whatever harship you went through that she was (lets just call it) "representing, to reach the top. It didn't happen. It wasn't close to happening. It's never going to happen.

I actually agree with everything in this post.

ARTPOP was a huge step back and it showed in every way: Touring, albums, singles, social media... Everything declined at the same time. She can come back stronger (though she'll most probably never reach BTW album and tour numbers again) to reach Katy's level of success with albums and slightly less single success than Prism imo.

That is IF she manages to write lyrics way better than ARTPOP & stops looking like a mess (hair and makeup).

As for awards, she'll get nominated when she's no longer embarrassing like half the ARTPOP era.

But sis, ur fave is 130 years into her career
