3. The best things about Gen 4 were HGSS, which were literally flawless, but RSE were such a leap forward from the previous generation and had one of the best stories and regions. It would be a lot harder to choose between RSE and HGSS on their own, but DP weren't up-to-par for me personally and only Platinum is truly great out of the Gen 4 originals. Meanwhile, Gen 3 also has FRLG to boost its performance, and they were also spectacular remakes that remained faithful to the original games while still providing new experiences.

The only thing gen 4 did right was the physical/special split. The gameplay was slow and Team Galactic were dumb as ****
