Twitter (and Tumblr for that matter) is absolute trash. They've never even met the woman and all I see are smart-ass remarks about Katherine being the devil reincarnated.
In 2008 she withdrew from Emmy nomination consideration for her role in Grey's Anatomy because she felt the show hadn't given her good enough material to justify the nomination.
"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials."
That's right, girl. "Sorry you have a problem," not "Sorry, I did something wrong." Keep yourself above it.
She's absolutely right. She was right when she spilled the truth tea and pulled herself out of the Emmy noms, and she's right now. It's Shonda's problem, and it always was. Shonda can continue throwing a hissy fit for years over being mad that Katherine called her show out for the garbage it is, it's not going to make it any less garbage or Katherine any less right.
