Would they have reduced Neil Armstrong to tears upon his return for enforcing heteronormativity with his masculinist rhetoric about stepping? I don’t doubt it. After all, what was done to Dr Taylor was plain vicious. At the crowning moment of his life’s work, exhausted and elated all at once, this poor – brilliant – man had to say sorry for putting back female advancement by several thousand years with his poor choice of clothes. The whole scenario is as insane as it is cruel.

I often don't agree with "PC gone mad" comments but this is a clear case. Completely ridiculous and disrespectful towards actual misogyny.

And it's usually led by racist white women who only care when white women are being objectified. Just like white feminists only cared about sexism in music videos when white girls were being fondled in Blurred Lines, but turn a blind eye to the infinity of other music videos with a black women being thrown around. I do think it was taken too far, but at the same time this kind of excessive harassment is what women deal with on a daily basis by doing things as simple as walking down the street. Anti-feminists are trying to make an example out of this man to prove "feminists are mad" all while sitting back and doing nothing when women like Anita Sarkesian (sic?) are subjected to rape and death threats every hour of every day.

no most modern feminists are radical crazy people who constantly embarass themselves every time they speak on issues. If the Civil rights movement behaved like modern feminists we'd still be getting soaked by police with fire hoses.
