Not Katy fan talking about how BTW is not risky
BTW is the riskiest release by a MAJOR pop girl in the last 6 years. Unless you can prove me wrong ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
After TFM everyone was waiting for another Bad Romance yet she came back with Born This Way and songs like Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, Americano, The Queen and so on.
Go educate yourselves

I do agree, but overall it fit with the style of the times. It was risky in that it was more dark and harsh sounding than her light and more rounded works (Judas for example can be compared to Bad Romance, but Judas is far more aggresive).

Judas is a key word. The only song that sounded close to her previous material yet it's her riskiest single.
The themes on BTW are way riskier than the music itself, but even the music is risky enough for its time of release (when songs like Party Rock Anthem were smashing and Someone Like You etc.)
