Everyone's biopic should take a page from the Selena book. Her biopic, and I say this as a massive fan, was very VERY well done.

The whole family was on board. They were mostly afraid that some other sensationalist director/writer would base her story off the rampant misinformation about her life, murder, etc. They obviously had Capitol secure the rights for Selena's catalog and Selena's REAL VOICE was in the film. Another perk: All the outfits, accessories were replicas of their originals instead of just interpreting them.

messy acting. terrible actors. no plot line. each scene lasted like a minute and moved on to the next scene. terrible casting choices. i only watched the first 10 minutes though. i have work soon so ill finish it later.

the fact that aaliyah performed a britney song instead of any of her own songs.

U sound foolish. Alexandria never and could never on her best day. U tried it.

No one is saying aaliyah was the best singer of all time but it doesnt even take a musically deaf person to realize that Aaliyahs voice was at least not as flat or dry as alexandrias. And i can post LIVE clips to vouch.
