Man, 61, killed after being pushed in front of D train in the Bronx as wife watched
Wai Kuen Kwok, who was headed to breakfast in Chinatown with his wife, was pushed as the southbound D train pulled into the station. The subway operator saw Kwok but couldn't stop the train in time. Cops are looking for a balding, heavy-set man wearing a black leather jacket suspected in the killing.

A manhunt was on for the stocky stranger who without any apparent provocation shoved Wai Kuen Kwok into the path of a southbound D train in Highbridge as the victim’s wife watched in horror.
Kwok’s distraught wife told investigators the sickening 8:45 a.m. attack came out of the blue, saying there was no interaction between her husband and the man before the deadly push.
Police were handling the case as a random act of violence.
The train’s motorman saw Kwok tumble off the platform as he pulled into the 167th St. station, but he couldn’t stop in time, a transit source said.

I live in NYC and always take the subway everyday. I am scared of this happening sometimes. Actually this morning there was this Crazy Angry Black Homeless guy right behind me arguing and saying racist things. I was not paying too much attention to him but after a little while I moved away thinking that he may push me.
Wasn't there a similar incident that happen a few years ago with an old asian man being thrown off the train rails by a black man?
I think I know what you're talking about I was friends with the guys daughter but in that case the Asian guy was the aggressor and was drunk in this case the guy isn't black

I live in NYC too and my Psychology professor had warned us all about standing to close to the edge and advised us to stand somewhere that you can see everyone that is approaching you. There are CRAZY people here in NYC. RIP.
Police late Monday said they know exactly whom they’re looking for in the death of a man who was shoved man right into the path of a D Train in the Bronx this past weekend, and they are closing in on him.
As CBS2’s Weijia Jiang reported, the NYPD blasted images of the suspect across the city following the incident this past Sunday. Police have identified the suspect as a 34-year-old Bronx resident with more than 30 prior arrests on charges of robbery, assault, and drugs.
His most recent arrest came on Sunday, Nov. 9, for allegedly pickpocketing in Midtown Manhattan.
History of 30 arrests?? And he still out and about on the streets of NYC??? And I thought the USA was tough on Black people but this guy seemed to get away with a lot?!?!
I read this, he was a Chinese who came to the US with his family then gets pushed in front of a train by some vile thug for no reason.
This is why I stand with my back against the wall at bus or train stops at least I would but we don't have buses or trains here, I've seen them in big cities though.
