Stanning reminds me of sexuality, I didn't choose to have Queen as fave, I just feel like I prefer her to all the others and she's the most appealing to me. Even if our faves change genres or make stupid **** we don't like (i see yall little monsters) or they become a shadow of their former selves (shoutout to the army) I feel like we always have a soft spot for them.

obviously, we have a little bit of choice because i don't think we're going to stan for someone who we just do not like, but we don't have much choice when it comes to what music we find enjoyable and what music we can't bear to listen to.

i think some people stan for artist's success and then brags about their success as if it's their own, i think that's sad

of course we do. I might like an artist a LOT but its my choice if I want to follow them, check on what they are doing on any given day, looking for candids, check on upcoming projects/ music etc.

I pretty much only do that for a few artists even though I am a big fan of other artists too.

I don't know what some of you gorls are talking about. Obviously we pick who to stan for. I mean, of course we can like who we like but we still have the option to say, "Hmm, I like this artist's music but I don't really like them, so I don't stan." or something like that. Their music may hit you unexpectedly but that doesn't mean you immediately stan.
