Oh and back to pop art for one last note. Since pop art was about elevating the mundane or commercial to high art, pop stars by definition are not part of pop art. Pop music has the potential to be artistic, of course, but first and foremost it is a product. Pop stars are not part of pop art because they already are mundane and commercial.

But I suppose I'm done replying since you don't know how to discuss art except to accuse me of copying and pasting.

If you think I said the same thing as you, you should re-read.

One last time: the subject does not matter (so referencing pop culture is not what makes pop art--a blade of grass could be pop art in the right context) and pop stars do not create pop art by definition. Pop art is a dusty movement anyways, so at best they'd be partipating in some post- movement.

Unless you were literally there when they came up with the concept and reasons behind said concept you can't know anything for sure, that is your opinion, not a fact.

In my opinion it more than likely is a coincidence and I think it's very telling that with your two examples you've come up with one obvious parallel and one that is quite clearly a reach, no further evidence provided, two pieces of theoretical 'evidence' are not enough to draw a rough hypothesis from never mind lending any credence to a theory.

I'd be interested in seeing more if you have any other ideas though. I'm not hating, just joining the discussion.

Don't bother posting receipts because OP ignores them. There's literally hundreds of interviews, videos and papers that cite different quotes from Andy, Koons, Haring - you name it - all speaking about their 'art'. Apparently "real art!!1!" is when you make the Mona Lisa and didn't mean to ? wtf I'd like an example of that tbh.

IT doesn't matter honestly. People will say Katy is uninspired and unartistic no matter the visuals or music she releases.

It's just how they cope with her success.

Those tweets are few and far between.

I could go through your twitter if i had the benefit of knowing your username and find thing that you have said

So, this is you in a nutshell.

It's totally ok for someone to do the above when they support your opinion but for me to mention a few things that occurred, like point out when im mentioned or when Madonna fans are mentioned it's not ok. FYI that makes up a very TINY part of my twitter.

The twitter timelines of the people you support are CONSTANTLY filled with the things that are above.

I'm so glad you're done with me though, hopefully I won't have to tolerate your inboxes begging for attention and to give you a Madonna related discussion.
