I love it, actually. It has far less baggage than "gay."

Homo means same in Greek and sexual means sex so it means attracted to the same sex and while it sounds very scientifical (like calling Asians mongoloids for instance) it does not offend me

Whenever I'm talking to people, I just use gay. Homosexual is too much to say.

I don't hate it but I think it's a weird term to use in casual conversation. Gay is so much easier to say, homosexual sounds like something a doctor or a really old person would say

It depends on the context. I think homo is a lot more degrading. I dont like queer either.

I can usually let homophobia roll of my back but whenever I hear the words 'homo' and 'queer' I automatically think of a hateful homophobe being like 'that dirty disgusting queer should die'

ya i hate the word. i feel like its ranking us in a different class of ..human? idk i just feel like the word comes out harsh...the word monkey and animal comes to mind when i hear homosexual and idk why
