Catching Fire was a mess. Why did they presume that Katniss would know to shoot the arrow in the sky, it was such an unlikely thing to do and without it the whole thing would've been screwed
Katniss outsmarted them the first time around, she could definitely do it again.

Katniss outsmarted them the first time around, she could definitely do it again.
But tha movie was anything but a mess.
It was a great film and the best of the books but so many things made no sense. Like was Katniss supposed to shoot that arrow as part of the plan? Did they actually torture Prim/Annie/Gale? Why didn't Seneca just take the nightlock? Why did they cut out those people going to 13? Why can Peeta swim in the film?
I was both mortified and oddly flattered
