And that's completely subjective. There are plenty of people who are enjoying her new music. Even if the reviews for her new music were outpouringly negative, that doesn't make what she said here any less true. Two completely unrelated topics.

I don't know if I agree with that. You have people like Meghan Trainor coming out of nowhere smashing.....some other recent examples of new artists smashing are Hozier, Sam Smith, etc.

I kinda agree. Well, I think it's always been like that tho, but let's say that when an artist flop with only a single or two, especially a popstar, it is highly commented nowadays when it's not such a big deal at the end of the day...
