How is she only the 6th if you consider the Digital era to be 2009-onwards which is inaccurate? The transition to Digital era started in '03 and you could OFFICIALLY say '05 was the beginning of it.

Also Bey would be one of the acts that has sold 10 million during the Digital era. The ACTUAL Digital era - not the pseudo time frame created by the OP.

Even with 2008 included, the list of artists wouldn't change anyway. Singles sales were too low for pre-2008 years to be included in the digital era + 2008 alone has much higher album sales than the following years, let alone pre-2008

I understand that Lady Gaga's career isn't exactly blossoming at this certain moment and that her last solo release delivered numbers that are more than underwhelming for an artist of her caliber but that doesn't mean creating pseudo ''achievements'' to show her in a better light will help her case.

She's been very successful in the past and her numbers are impressive nonetheless but lets not go around fabricating achievements.
