I don't think anyone is shocked that this movie was a mess. Everyone tuned in just to see the mess.
Her family had every right to be against a movie if it wasn't going to be done properly. The fact that the main focus of this biopic was how R. Kelly "made" Aaliyah and how their relationship came about proves how opportunistic someone like Wendy is. Instead of letting people know who Aaliyah was and why people fell in love with her, she chose to focus on the gossip and rumors.
Let me not get started on the casting. Why did they cast the singer Joe as R. Kelly?
The amount of backlash this is getting.... I like how the tables are turned on Wendy, the one who always spews hate and criticism on others.
