Well of course you have to promote your album, but she and Bobby literally made 2000 copies
to get that #1 spot. She obviously loves to be #1 and that's a good thing. Makes it more interesting
with the next album. Still don't see her going the controversial route tho.

ARTPOP is literally what most of the fans asked for after BTW.
I was just remembering the first time I heard Applause, and I hadn't the slightest idea what she was saying in the chorus. It was just way too fast for me. And I was also listening for the A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E lyrics she kept posting about but just couldn't hear them.
And now I can't imagine how none of it made sense when I first heard it.
