I watched it. The acting was very good, Naomi Watts was great.
I don't know if I liked the ending or not though.
I really wanted those guys to die, but it turned out they could control space/time

The ending is infuriating.

I wanted to watch Nightmare On Elm Street but I saw some reviews on Yahoo! Answers and they were saying how they couldn't sleep for days

I'm still a total baby and get scared by everything.
but I don't mind, because the adrenaline really adds to the experience for me.

I really liked the film, the message at the end was delivered perfectly.
No, it was not about them controling time/space. The director wanted to punish the audience for watching torture films. The people that hate this movie is because they are the type that go into a thriller/horror film and expect the good guys to win, with a glorious happy ending and the bad guys are all shot and killed. The director made the rewind to show that, at the end, if you go in to watch a torture film and wanting the good guys to win... what's the point? And his point was proven, like you said, you wanted 'those guys to die'.
If you listened carefully at the end, the quote at the end of the film is exactly what he was trying to make. You can say it's a 'human psychology' movie.

Literally nothing scares me anymore.
There's one movie tho... Pulse, the original Japanese one. I couldn't watch that alone at night. The ghost scene is just tooooo freaky.
