because irrelevants tend not to care about commercial appeal all that much and as such they're less likely to have the same homogenized sound lots of mainstream artists tend to have, which makes them more likely capture my attention and interest
also because irdc how successful an artist is when i decide to stan. I stan for whoever makes bops.
