Has last.fm sucked this past couple of years?
I still use last.fm on a regular, but it's so ****ing laggy and it's always offline

No. It is working perfectly fine for me this very moment, as it has served its purpose well since I have started using it.
The most laggy season was probably in 2013.

Mine's usually pretty laggy, I think it's a browser for me though.
The real annoying thing though is is crashing after scrobbling from my ipod and uploading inflated play counts.

it always deletes loads of my scrobbles. after a while it'll restore them, and then delete them again within a day. so annoying.

There was a period when it was down for literally a whole day and it was so irritating but it seems fine at the moment

They are having financial problems

The website lags bad on first click but when I refresh it always works instantly.
The website serves it's purpose of collecting scrobbles but that's kinda it.

It's never offline for me? But it still sucks, it was cool back in like 08/09 when everyone seemed to just be discovering it but since then it's literally barely changed or progressed at all.
