So many members aged 12-15 who know little about Pop music history. And by that I don't mean 80s, 90s - some of them don't know how massive something from the 2000s was, cuz they were probably not even born at that time
And that isn't the problem I am talking about - the problem is they always DARE to discuss something they know nothing about. And by that I don't mean some little comment, but essays
ATRL shouldn't be age restricted. One of the most knowledgeable users on pop music (hello_world) is only 15. He knows more about pop music than me and I am 4 years older.
So you expect a 35 year old man dragging and shading pop gurls?
(No offence to anyone who is 35+ here. I just wouldn't expect that)
Anyways, I have a good memory. I was born in 1998 but I remember loads of things
I actually think that ATRL has helped me become more informed about past pop culture. I barely even knew who Madonna was before I joined and now I own almost all her albums and consider her one of my favorite artists.
I don't think it should be age restricted because we can learn a lot about different generations' cultures by being able to discuss music with people who are younger and older than us. But as with any other website you should have to be at least 13.
No. I don't see why anyone should care how old a person is on here. Plus there's only like 3 or so 14 year olds on this site anyways so you rarely ever see them in threads.

Exactly. I didn't even know about Lucky by Britney. I discovered that amazing song due to ATRL I was two when it was released.
Back in my day there was real divas and real music, now all the younguns have is streaming and moments they think are iconic, yet don't know moments I thought were iconic but couldn't outlast a generation.
It does irk me at times. But I can't blame them for not knowing. But they need to learn about legends who have slain back in the day before they try shading them. Especially if they stan for disney girls/f-list newbies who'll likely never see a 4th of the success of the major pop girls. Most of them might not know/care about 50 Cent. But the man was a juggernaut at his peak. These artists nowadays wish they could.
