Is the government hiding a cure?

I've heard the government is hiding a cure because it's expensive, and they need population control and money. Disgusting if it's true tbh.

there's a cure but its kept in secret.a lot of companies would lose billion of dollars if the cure is revealed.
thats why people who said they have a cure are killed or just disappears

There is no cure yet, but research is being done every single day to find it.

Sistren, no That theory has no idea what goes in to the creation of medicine and where we are technologically. Cancer is just an umbrella term for abnormal cell growth that damages the body. Basically, to combat it, we're going to have to be able to reprogram cancerous (or malignant) areas of the body to change the output of cell growth. Does any of that make sense?

This would be a valid point if every hospital/pharmacy was in business together. If you found a cure for cancer, you'd be sure to put it out because it would make you billions much, much quicker than cancer treatment. Yes it would hurt your competition, but why would you care?

Basically. Like you say, cancer is just normal cells becoming mutated in some way, causing their over-proliferation (replication). This can be caused by a range of factors and it is so difficult to find a proper cure because the medication would has a difficult time distinguishing between normal cells and cancer cells. That is the same problem as chemotherapy drugs. They cannot determine which cells to target because there is no obvious difference between the cells apart from their over replication.

Some cancers are easily treatable today with the vast majority of people recovering.

There are dozens and dozens of different types of cancers. Some are currently incurable, some are treatable but usually eventually kill, and some that are easily treatable.

I highly doubt there isn't one already.

They're working on it, but there are so many different cancer types that it's going to be a long road. However, some metastatic cancers have been beat into remission using gene therapy. It's expensive, but it works! There are people out there whose cancer has been "cured."

Probably hiding it for income, wouldn't shock me since we can cure cancer in certain animals
