Beyoncé's physical wasn't released until a month after the digital and in some countries it was after 2 months. Some countries don't even let exclusive albums chart.
There is no such thing as "more global" in this day and age. Popularity =/= "more global". Everyone knows who Beyoncé is, hence her grossing 230 million in less than a year. Some of her fans don't even use iTunes. Like me. I had to wait for the physical.
The album still sold almost 2 million outside the states.

I love how you call my post stupid while at the same time, not understanding it.

GREAT! Because as I expalined, the US makes 60 percent of the
digital market. The rest of the world makes up the remaining 40 percent. So if Beyonce the physical wasn't released until a month or so after the digital we can say without a doubt that the world wide sales were all
digital.
Now, as explained the US makes up for 60 percent of the
digital market the rest of the world is 40 percent of the
digital market.
Everything at this point is in digital. The physical at this time, is irrelevant.
So in the
FIRST week I believe 746,000 units were sold WW.
Here's the sales data:
http://www.mediatraffic.de/albums-week52-2013.htm
Now, 617,000 copies came from the US. as per billboard:
http://www.billboard.com/articles/ne...-in-three-days
129,000 does not represent 40 percent of the reamining digital market.
Agian, Physical units at this point are irrelevant because we are talking digital only.
I'm sorry Hive, you'll need to accept that Beyonce did not meet expectations on a WW scale. There's no doubt about it being a remarkable hit in the US tho.
