how? selling 1 million? she is still a routing force but her album sales are in the tank. the GP is not checking for her at music at all and unless she changes her sound quick her next album will probably barely hit 1 million worldwide. sad.

It's been a rough year for us Monsters.

We've literally known this since early 2014 when IFPI released its 2013 report. For some strange reason, ATRL stans like to believe Mediatraffic, a site ran by a bunch of random people, over IFPI, the only organization that tracks accurate sales worldwide. IFPI gets its number directly from retailers as opposed to estimations and sources of sources like Mediatraffic. ARTPOP sold 2.3m in 2013 alone.

IFPI no longer tracks shipments as stores can send unsold copies back to manufacturers.

Don't the people here realize that MediaTraffic is made by a twink in his basement in Germany compiling unofficial estimates he makes himself which he bases off of IFPI reports? IFPI is THE official source. They said SALES, not SHIPMENTS. It's not Monsters who are unable to read, it's everybody who denies that ARTPOP has sold over 2.3 million copies to people.

What better receipt for WW sales is there besides the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry? That's THE official source for music. It's the receipt to end all receipts.

How is this a reliable source for sales? All media that is not involved in the music industry reports on inflated sales and/or uses shipments. They don't know the difference. It's probably closer to 2.3m than 1.7m now, but we're gonna need a legitimate source for that.
