Biological sex is different from the social construct gender. The OP isn't asking about sex, as you can clearly see. Moreover, if they were, you're still wrong. It is possible to have extra or less sex chromosomes than typical. An individual with XXY (instead of XX or XY) doesn't fit into male or female biological sex categorizations.
These constructs, social especially, are inefficient and don't reflect reality.
