"The Insider With Yahoo" caught up with "Arrow" star Brandon Routh, and the Iowa native dished on his first gig in the business — an extra in Christina Aguilera's "What a Girl Wants" music video. "That was a big deal. That was my first brush with stardom," he said. "I remember being pretty jazzed about that. That was one of my first times really being on set and seeing how that was made." And the newbie, who would go on to play Superman in "Superman Returns" seven years later, was excited to have landed the small part. "That was back in the days when I was in awe of the whole process and didn't mind, you know, an 18-hour day. Now it's a little bit different. She was becoming a big star at that time." Now Brandon is the big star.
