Of course but if we are debating whether or not she is a celebrity or an artist, you're going to need more than your own personal opinion.
The Hive is not saying, "She just seems like more of an artist. If I had to guess I'd say that no one cared about her scandals." because that doesn't get us anywhere.
Beyoncé is a HUGE celebrity though. We don't need to prove that. We all know it's true. She is also a huge artist. She released a landmark album which set records and wowed critics, she had two hit tours, was awarded one of the music industry's biggest awards, performed a standout performance, and is releasing a new Platinum edition which is already selling well. This is all evidence that her artistry is still respected enough that she is first and foremost an artist, or at least an equal artist to celebrity.
