Just an FYI, and I don't know how far it will go. A lot of artists are beginning to follow Taylor Swift's lead and leaving Spotify to encourage their fans to either buy the CD or download the track. Jason Aldean just made the same decision on Monday with his new album, and supposedly there are other artists ready to do the same. Maybe sales aren't dead yet, and streaming isn't the entire future, If nothing else, Spotify will want to pay their artists more, because in both Swift's and Aldean's cases, the decision was the ARTISTS', NOT the labels'.

I didn't realize that Marina was that high on iTunes. I'm not a huge fan of Froot, but I hope she's successful in the U.S. with this album

Is it me or is the Voice losing its iTunes power? The songs perfomed don't do as well as before

How are the ratings for the show? I think why its falling so fast is because of saturation , don't they have 2 seasons a year ?

I don't know why you are saying The Voice has no longer a impact on iTunes or something.

In season 5, 10/20 made the top100 during playoffs, and 10/20 are making it this season (actually we could 11 or 12). Peaks are a bit lower, but look at this week with all the pre-orders tracks, Taylor tracks, 1D promo singles etc. Nobody stood out this week, that's why we have no songs in top10/20. Plus usually the selling power depends on song choices, which were kinda meh this week.

Its selling power usually gets bigger week by week too.
