He is on a power trip. When you are paying people very little, you have very little leeway with this things. Otherwise you'll get to a point where people just wont' work there. People are desperate for jobs but Chick Fil A isn't paying that much where they can dictate this kinda thing.
It's not wrong that the owner doesnt want their employees using these stupid terms and making the workplace less professional
Obviously they shouldn't use those words in front of customers, but if they use it amongst themselves I don't think it's worth being THAT strict about. This manager is being way excessive and is simply fueling a hostile work environment.
