And no, not all personal pictures are edited. That's kind of ridiculous to assume. I haven't seen many (if any) other celebrity instagram/personal pics photoshopped like this. I'm not talking about filters and stuff, I'm talking about shaping body features and stuff.

By the way, I happen to like Beyonce. But I do think its a bit ridiculous that she photoshops her pics like this....I wish she'd be a bit more real about this stuff.

What is with so many of the Beyonce stans in here fuming, saying people are "Trying to hard", "Obsessed", "the dedication", etc? Nobody is being hateful, I mean this was posted on BuzzFeed. It's a valid opinion to have. You don't often see artists photoshopping their own personal pictures, so its an interesting conversation point. I like Beyonce, but I wish she wouldn't feel the need to strive for perfection so much when she is great as she is.

you havent seen any bc no one is looking. to my naked eye, i dont see any photoshop. but when people spend hrs carefully looking at every inch of a pic, i'm sure you will find many. maybe people should find something better to do.

I don't think anyone is spending hours inspecting these pics. It's not hard to tell from looking at it that the curtains look like they're warped along with her body shape.

She's already beautiful why does she need to photoshop her thighs and hips? I mean if she had acne or something it would be understandable but she literally has a killer body, so why??

I never said ALL personal photos are photoshopped. Use reading comprehension. And you can't tell who photoshops what. You aren't doing the editing. Stop trying to analyze photos for editing when you have no idea what is and what isn't.

And I could care less if you stanned for her, didn't stan for her, or hated her. I wouldn't change what I'm saying at all.

Anyone who regularly photoshops their Instagram pics is trying far too hard & I'm judging them for it. I don't care if it's Beyonce, my friend or a stranger. Like someone else said, this case simply feels a bit ingenuous because it feels like Beyonce would be one of those celebrities that preaches body acceptance. It's as simple as that - the gesture confuses me.

Part of me believes this is just a conspiracy to get people following her instagram - I mean, you know how many hundreds of people are analyzing every square of the image trying to find something wrong with it every time she posts? It's like a game. Beyonce plays with her prey - it's no coincidence the divorce rumours stopped. She stopped giving them ammunition because basically... we're all her bitch.

I mean that author is employed at BuzzFeed, they have a life, not to mention BF doesn't post as much on the weekend. And there are several in this thread that are saying this one is obvious, so its clearly not taking many people hours to analyze it.

You don't seem calm because, in response to my initial harmless post, you said how I have no idea what I'm talking about and that I'm trying so hard.....and again, in response to this one, patronizing things like "use reading comprehension", "you have no idea what is and what isn't", etc.....you don't seem calm, and you seem to be very bothered. We're just having a discussion, there's no need to get so worked up over it.

The whole point of this thread is that this picture appears to be photoshopped given the warped curtains behind her, and this isn't the first time Beyonce has posted photoshopped personal photos and gotten attention for it across the net, and even TV (E!News had a segment on it one time). There are plenty of people who have thoughts on this and there's nothing "ridiculous" about our opinions.

I was referring to you saying "no one photoshops personal photos" as ridiculous. Which is why I brought up the edit tools and the Photoshop app, and how it is used for editing/doctoring personal photos all the time. Please keep up. I know you didn't write this article. It is ridiculous for anyone to judge or question why anyone would photoshop or edit anything they choose for their personal social media accounts. It's no one's business. For all you know she does it, if she does, purposely for the follows and free press. People talking about something so simple probably gives her kiiiiis.
