BTD and Ultraviolence both have flaws, I enjoyed BTD more in the initial hype rush but enjoy both of them pretty equally now. Both have gems and duds, but nothing offensively terrible.

Lykke Li is cool. The only indie girl I can stand. Well, her and that abominable creature iamwhoiam.

Lana doesn't belong there with all those legends.

Lies. Lana's score was in YELLOW and every bandwagon fan was screaming "they're being BIASED!!!". That bitch would have still been at 61 if that one Lana stan wouldn't have cried to Metacritic about not including a forgotten decent review.

BTD has Video Games, Born To Die, Summertime Sadness, Blue Jeans and Dark Paradise which are all masterpieces. The symphonies really enhance the melodrama which works so well.

Ultraviolence has Brooklyn Baby, SOC, West Coast and Old Money which are all amazing too. It's to Born To Die what RED was to Speak Now like it has less of that "magic" and a little more dark.

Female indie artists are almost all poo.

I will practice patience and give it time before I make this tough decision and truly compare them as the works of art they are.

I feel like SG is a bit more of a Fantasea. The fact that it didn't even get put up to download...

West Coast is the only song that is 10/10 from Ultraviolence. There are other few good tracks like Old Money and Sad Girl, but as a whole, the album isn't cohesive like Born to Die is. I can't go further than halfway of a song for almost all of Ultraviolence.

I feel like the very first verse of the album on Want Some Mo' isn't all that, and the featured verse by that guy is TERRIBLE, but then she goes OFF at the end of the song. But not a good way to start a project at all. JP gets dinged for that and I'm not a huge fan of Ready 4 Action either.

Azealia saved the two least compelling songs for the end of the album, it's longer, and has more verses.

I'd like to be able to hear Junglepussy's album in more than 128kbps before I make the final call too. Production and mixing is important to me and Azealia's album is really good in that regard.

Hopefully, better than Lana's dreary 'intimate settings'.
