I agree with what she's saying but this has been going on since the beginning of popular music and is not going to stop, unfortunately. Media LOVES to pit females against each other for catfights and such but in reality most of them don't have a real problem with each other, just some stans. In addition to Navy and Hive:

I don't see how's that even relevant. Tinashe released one of the best albums this year. I don't know why people are bent on sales as a maker of success.

Bae, the likes of Gaga and Bruno started out selling 20k albums first week. That is NOT a good determination of where an artist will be in the future. A lot of big names today had to put in hard work from the jump. Success is not an overnight thing. The girl is talented. Never count anyone out because of where they start. She has a promising future.
Glad she said this, its so stupid how the media pits female artists against each other, and the stan bases just follow right along. Her album is critically acclaimed and hopefully we get back to how good the albums are and debate that and not sales all the time.
