Sis, it's rap. It's not meant to be for children to bop along to, like most of the top 40 is. It's personal and mostly painful, like poetry which is sometimes dark and twisted. The very verse everyone was freaking out about today, its obvious nobody listened to it for real because there is a line in it that says "You playin right in Lex Luthors hands'

A. his alter-ego Slim Shady says the majority of these things in the same way that Tyler, the Creator does. But the problem is that children are growing up with this music. Rap was meant to empower. Now it's mostly just about violence, misogynistic views, homophobia, rape jokes etc.

And I'm glad that wasn't directed toward me because I'm white myself lol so that has nothing to do with it.
