Actually, a lot of people care about his music..... Even though, he's country, he's one of the biggest country acts, and he's one of the few country acts that doesn't suck. He's pretty big in the US.

More independent artists have been able to reach #1 on the Billboard 200 now (this decade) than in any point in the history of popular music. I'm not seeing your point.

That'd mean that they care even less for Rihanna's music considering she hasn't topped the sales of his best selling album.

1st off no because the artist doesn't make much from sales anyways. Mainly the label does. It's touring where the artist gets a lot.

2nd off is it really a bad thing if suddenly touring disappeared and artists lived normal lives? Artists aren't entitled to living the lux life...
