What I think is that people love Nicole as an artist more but they prefer Cheryl's music (I mean, she was dragged by everyone after the XF performance but still got to #1).
Cheryl is big mainly in the UK but she is charting in European countries I think if she promotes in Europe she will be big I mean she has potential she charting there now but with no promotion.
didn't know #39 on billboard was considered a hit will think of that one when xtina underperforms again
anyways on topic fight for this love went top 5 all over europe something nicole hasn't achieved.
in the US nicole is more known due to the fact that PCD was popular worldwide including the states unlike girls aloud. however nicole couldn't make that much out of that given fame unfortunately which is a shame because she is really talented. also she was on the US version of strictly come dancing right around the time pcd ended and won the show. and of corse she was also a judge on the US xfactor so americams definitely are more familiar with her face.
would say both are not global at all but cheryl is probably more successfu in europe while nicole is better known in the states.
Who cares, at the end of the day, who is actually buying Nicoles music? Nicole only has more views. because more people know about her, mostly because of PCD, but they arent buying her music, what kind of success did she have this year WW? None. Her album flopped. Cheryl is atleast having big success in the UK and Ireland.
And btw Cheryl outpeaked Nicoles single in Australia, CSL #43, Your Love peaked at #51.
yea right she did some performances it didn't chart at all so she decided to move back to the UK and release it there as her next single. i didn't vote for either but idk why so many would vote for nicole on this.
