I went through all that recently
I got so frustrated at his ass for ignoring me from time to time (he'd only talk when he initiated the convos), that now whenever he messages me I blatantly ignore him. And when he breaks up with his boyfriend and comes running back to me (again) I'm gonna ignore him even harder.
That guy sounds like a jerk so push him back twice as hard.
