Yes, often...and IDK what's so good about that
For example I tell my teacher that she's a ****, she tells my parents etc. but then I realize I'm just dreaming, so I get calmer, but keep dreaming.

I've been having sleep paralysis since an early age but as I grow, it's now reduced to at least twice a month. It's the scariest thing to experience, but with some help, I learnt how to turn it into lucid dreaming. The thing is, whenever I'm experiencing the sleep paralysis, it's so scary that I keep struggling (although none of my body parts are really moving) to get out of it. I always feel like I'm dying. If I resist that stage, I would successfully go onto lucid dreaming but it requires a lot of will and courage.
That being said, since I experience sleep paralysis often, I've managed to 'fight' it into lucid dreaming. I can't remember how many times .. but it's not that many. The last time I had sleep paralysis was last week, but the last time I transitioned into lucid dreaming was perhaps last year. It was a weird experience (although not as dramatic as the sleep paralysis) to see myself sleeping. I really thought that I died and I felt a presence with me. I was not scared because my out of body self doesn't have the human consciousness. But I was really uncomfortable. I managed to get back to my body. I guess I'm just not ready to lucid dream yet, but now I know that I have the capability to do it. I keep having my usual paralysis, but yeah - I just can't resist and I struggle everytime for it to stop.

To people saying they have lucid dreamed, did you just go into lucid dreaming without going through the sleep paralysis stage? I don't know why I find it impossible.
It's like a butterfly process - you cannot be a butterfly unless you've been a cocoon.
I always knew that the way to achieve lucid dreaming was to pass through sleep paralysis because that's how I live it. Maybe I'm the only one to experience it differently then.

If I got it right, what you experienced wasn't a lucid dream but an "out of body" experience.

Based of your previous post, it kinda seems like you're getting the term "lucid dream" wrong.
Lucid dream is when you're conscious in your dream, why would that be impossible without going through SP first ?
I for one immediately lucid dreamed.

You are right. But it happened many times that my OBE transitioned into Lucid dreaming, I find it complex. I've waken up many times confused because I didn't know if I was awake or dreaming. That's why I thought they were somehow related. The person who helped me through it explained that it can happen because it's all about our consciousness - and the layer between body and 'soul' is so thin that you can do anything while OBE. I'm glad to know it could be done directly, and I wish I could do it without going through SP/OBE.

I see where you're coming from.
In fact now that I think about it, an out of body experience basically sounds to me like a dream/lucid dream where you're floating above your body.
I can't imagine how that could happen in real life, sounds like some kind of dark magic spell :rip;
