Yeah I grew up in both cities. They both have good sides and bad sides, but I'd choose London every time.

All Paris really has is the Eiffel Tower. They had a building height restriction in central parts of the city which made the skyline flat and boring apart from La Defense which is a little bit out of the center. But that just looks like any generic business district.

London's skyline has so many iconic features, it's probably the best skyline in Europe.

Paris doesn't have any Skyline, it's a preserved historical city, every mayor of the city since the 1950s (beginning of the american skyline trend) made a promise to never disfigure Paris's unique face.

that's why it's the most visited city in the world. It's unique. It's a city who stayed true to herself.

I'd say neither, but London has an edge. European skylines are dull in general.

The Eiffel tower's shape is more iconic than any other outline in Europe, though.

But I thought London was the most visited city? And Paris "stayed true" because Hitler didn't want to destroy it. London was forced to reinvent itself after the war.

London is both historical and Modern with its skyline. The Eye, Westminster palace, St. Paul's cathedral, The shard, and The building that looks like a giant zucchini...... etc.

London. I really didn't like Paris much when I visited. I thought London was also kinda dirty, but much more fun. Actually, outside London is loads of fun.
