I don't know, the sampled chorus is Gimme a Chance's staple. To be honest, it's already so different than the original that changing it anymore now just removes everything I'd be used to about the song.
I think it's more of an album cut that reminded her where she came from and that's why she included it. It's also got an incredible beat, so that too.

You should have been here yesterday sis. We went from having a cover and tracklist, to having a release date, to it being available in some countries Spotify and leaking in LQ/MQ, to being released to iTunes and slaying the top 3 where it has been ever since.

Azealia ****ing delivered. I always knew this album was going to be great and well to be honest it's beyond great. Each song is so damn perfect, I just can't explain the feelings I get when I'm playing Soda or Gimme a Chance (my two favorites at the moment) ha BEYONCÉ moment is here so proud of her.
Maybe if I listen to Gimme A Chance a few more times I'll get into it...I LOVE the song she sampled but I dont think it transitions very well in the beg...I also wish she sang the sample bc she can sing!

It'll grow on you. It's a grower but you're definitely gonna like it.
