I have to say, I think this is her most cohesive album. The intro really tone for the album. Following up with Live Life Now, It's About Time and then Crazy Stupid Love is like a three punch and explains why CSL was even a single. In living life now, learned to appreciate the little things, put the ghosts of the past aside and opened her heart up to new possibilities. Then she fell in love with someone unexpected and swept her off her feet.

Thematically, it's her best. Whereas albums 1-3 felt like just a collection of songs that rubber banded between albums, this one follows a set idea and works it to perfection. There aren't a lot of filler songs; and even referring to them as 'filler' is a disservice. They just don't match the amazing quality of the other songs.

Lyrically, it's her best. Melodically, it's her best. Production is top notch. Her vocals are excellent. Cheryl came to snatch.

Live Life Now slays my whole entire ****ing life

UPDATING as I am listening to the album once again.

Intro - 8/10 love the instrumental, wish the speech was a bit more dinamic.

1. Live Life Now - 5/10, love how it's basically the continuation of the intro, but I got tired of it after listening it a few times. Also it reminds me of Britney Spears for some reason
2. It's About Time - 10/10, sounds like a personal song it makes me happy for her! Love the bridge especially, definitely a single worthy song!
3. Crazy, Stupid Love - 10/10 - the best instrumental in any of her songs, so addicting!
4. Waiting for Lighting - 10/10 the chorus are really strong in this one, it's simply amazing
5. I Don't Care - 10/10 a perfect summer song, although as we can see it can smash any time in the year
6. Only Human - 10/10 every lyric from the beginning to the end is perfect, highlight of the album
7. Stars - 8/10 the only thing I don't like is - her voice is a bit pitchy at some places, too much auto-tune?
8. Throwback - 10/10 absolutely love this one! Although the rapping doesn't sound like her at all. "I ran out of ****s to give you baby"
9. All in One Night - 9/10 - love the r'n'b sound, the chorus are really catchy
10. Goodbye Means Hello - 6/10 this one hasn't hit me like the previous tracks. But it's a cute tune, for some reason it reminds me of Gaga's Eh Eh a bit.
11. Coming Up For Air - 6/10 love the instrumental but the lyrics are pretty weak and the chorus is too predictable.
12. Fight On - 6/10 I feel like I am supposed to like this for some reason....but I simply don't.
13. Yellow Love - 7/10 love the dynamic in her voice but I feel like I am not going to listen this as much as the other tracks
14. Beats N Bass - 9/10 finally another great track after the last 4 underwhelming. Exactly what I expected just looking at the title!
15. Tattoo - 8/10 - "I am nothing without you"
16. Firecracker - 9/10 - at the beginning I thought it's a country song Love the line "Now I am made of Firecracker", as it went on loved it more and more
17. I Won't Break - 9/10 finally a great ballad, would love to see it as the final single

Some of the tracks are messy like LLN but some other are flawless, my faves are: All In One Night, Beats N Bass and Fight On.

Although IMO AML>OH>3W>MLR but I agree this is her most cohesive and better produced album to date.

This is a really solid album, but nothing stuck out to me like AML.

I mean, thats fine (although she will always have naysayers no matter what, just like every other artist), my post wasn't about how good the album was in general, but about how good it is compared to her other albums. I just don't get how people think this is her worst album. Obviously everyone has their own opinion but I personally don't get how people think MLR is a better album than this, which seems to be something that she has put in a lot of effort and worked to make it cohesive and well produced etc

Woah woah woah. Calm down. Let's not say anything rash. I love Cheryl as much as the next person, but her solo albums will never be superior to a single GA album (that applies to all of the girls, not just Cheryl though). Girls Aloud were always pop perfection from Sound of the Underground (song or album) to the very end (minus BCLYM), whereas Cheryl has always been more of a pop work in progress. She has flashes of brilliance but nothing on GA's level.

That's just nostalgia talking!

BYE 70% of SOTU is trash. Half of OOC and WWTNS are poor too. But yeah, GA > Cheryl solo.

Live Life Now - 10/10 - Fits perfectly after the intro. It was completely overwhelming on the first listen
It's About Time - 10/10 - Sounds very Europop. Great vocal production
Waiting For Lightning - 10/10 - The chorus is absolutely amazing, I adore this one! Single #3 please!!!
Only Human - 10/10 - Pure euphoria!
Stars - 10/10 - A dance anthem! I played this almost 200 times on the first day
Throwback - 8.5/10 - Lyrically, it's my favourite song. The pre-chorus is everything!
All In One Night - 7/10 - Again, another amazing pre-chorus! I'm not too keen on the verses though. The attitude in her voice>
Goodbye Means Hello - 7/10 - This has grown on me.
Coming Up For Air - 10/10 - The production is euphoric. Was expecting a dull/cheesy ballad, but this is so much better!
Fight On - 7/10 - African tribal realness
Yellow Love - 5/10 - I think Nicola was trying to sabotage this album! The chorus somewhat redeems the song. The verses are terrible.
Beats N Bass - 8.5/10 - A complete 'banger', but definitely a grower!
Tattoo - 7.5/10 - Another song where the chorus shines inbetween the uneventful verses. Really nice bridge.
Firecracker - 8.5/10 - The tempo is awfully refreshing! The bridge is a stroke of genius, thank you Sia!
I Won't Break - 7/10 - A cute song

I'm listening now. So far, I'm kinda surprised at how bubblegum sounding this album is. Not that I expected much of it, but from the descriptions of the album is seemed to be more R&B/pop driven. Everything has been pretty sugary.

One thing I'm gonna say is as much as I love this album and I think is amazing and she scalped me I don't know what songs could be single worthy tho? with AML there were like at least 3 more that could've been singles with this one IDK. Her second best album IMO but I don't think there's an obvious smash..what do y'all think?

Omg I haven't heard it yet as I wanna until my physical copy comes. Everyone is saying it may be her best album. Is it really?
