"It's the truth. She's saying that we broke the band up. So there you go."

Girls Aloud parted ways back in March 2013 after celebrating ten years together with a headline tour of the UK.

Meanwhile, Cheryl will release her fourth solo album*Only Human*in the UK on November 10, which includes her hit singles 'Crazy Stupid Love' and 'I Don't Care'.

I'm not doubting Nadine's part in it at all, but if Cheryl wasn't successful solo she would have carried on with GA in 2012 and I don't think Nadine is the sole reason for the hiatus either. I think it's a case of three sides to every story tbh.

It's very obvious that Nadine wanted to go ahead with a solo career after the Out of Control era. She was worried by the fact that Cheryl's popularity was soaring when she started The X Factor, so she hurried to get a solo record out to compete with Cheryl's success.
When Nadine's solo career didn't go as planned, she decided that she needed Girls Aloud again, but then complained when the other girls decided that it was time to call it a day because she realized that she probably wasn't going to have major solo success.

Cheryl and Nadine were always mere colleagues, never real friends.

Absolutely. She may be right but whatever. I don't like the way she act and talk about Nadine. That is totally disrespectful. Cheryl made X Factor (when GA released their 4th album) and everybody had to support her. She made a featuring with will.i.am and everybody had to support her once again (and as band members, that's quite normal). Nadine has the bigger voice, she already had propositions to go solo when GA first started and more specifically in 2005... But she stayed in the group.
So it was naturally that after 5 studio albums, they did a hiatus.
It's just tiring that Cheryl always act like she didn't really want to go solo and blame the hiatus on Nadine. You don't make 4 solo albums by accident, you have to want it.

If you actually read Cheryl and Kimberley's autobiographies you'd actually know all the girls wanted to carry on after OOC bar Nadine. Nadine rocked up pre-show and introduced the girls to her SOLO manager, when the girls at that point had no intention of going solo and didn't even know Nadine did. It was then when the hiatus went ahead because Nadine wanted to go solo, that Will.I.Am had to convince Cheryl to go solo, as she didn't want too for a long time.. Then obviously Cheryl exploded, the GA friendships went frosty, Nadine flopped and they had a reunion and Nadine obviously knew after that a sucessful solo career for her was unlikely so then wanted to capitalise on the bands success once again but at that point most of the girls had had enough..

Then Nadine comes out saying she never knew they were gonna split up etc and it was against her wishes.. Cheryl is just say it that's BS, since Nadine instigated the first break up.

OK probably. But it's not because she wanted to go solo first, that she wanted GA to break up forever.
I'm not saying Cheryl is wrong, I'm just saying it's kinda hypocrite of her part to act like she didn't want to go solo at all. She always said that the band wouldn't last forever... so by saying that, she knows that at one point, she'd go solo eventually... and once again, nothing wrong with that

Of course it's obvious that Nadine wanted to continue with GA because she flopped. We all know that. But if Cheryl would have flop like Nadine, I'm sure she would have liked to rely on GA again.
