People have been composing for a new project for a while. The **** going on with Orbit and Antony Preston is an actual thing. I don't know what happened to cause it to fall through, but as Orbit said, he's been put on hold. I would guess that she never got around to laying down her vocals for those particular tracks, but Antony Preston stopped talking to me when I started asking questions about what was going on with all the excitement her and William Orbit had been building up on social media.
Otherwise, she's
allegedly cut 5 tracks already. That doesn't usually happen until their within arms reach of releasing something. Of course we have Britney on record stating she's planning on releasing no earlier than late next year, but I've really been holding out for her secretly dropped some music this year. At this point it's really hard to believe that, but with all of the crazy things she's doing now (Vegas, Intimate tour, etc) I can't imagine that music is as far off as two years. If she really is taking her time, she's been doing so since earlier beginning of this year and a realistic projection would give us a full-length album sometime next year (hopefully during her secnod short break from Vegas next year in late May).
*fingers crossed*
Again, that's all speculation based on a friend who giving me information about Britney cutting tracks with the same team she's worked with on Circus and Femme Fatale. They could be cut again like they were from Britney Jean.
Hopefully she's also in a different headspace during she was during Britney Jean as well. He said Britney delivered minimal during the record process and that's why a lot of the songs ended up being cut. Britney was working with a new team of people and for the most part, they weren't ready to deal with Britney not delivering as much as she needed to, which resulted in other vocalists filling in the holes in the album. As much as we blame Will for BJ being terrible, Britney has to take at least part of the blame for not putting enough effort into the recording process.
I don't want y'all running around quoting me and **** and getting people excited. Even producers can be wrong... like when a producer told me he had been asked to submit remixes for a Trouble For Me single, but then Criminal got released... but sometimes they can be right, like when the guy I mention before told me that Britney had commissioned Will to exec. produce the new album months before that information was actually released. (You can sift through my twitter for proof if you don't believe.)
