I still find it hard to believe Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan have both won the CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year before her (Although in their respective years, they were the ones that deserved it).

That's what I'm saying, The years Blake and Luke won they were both major entertainers (Blake with the Voice, Luke with his massive era).

But the fact that both them have both been nominated and won before Carrie's ever seen a nomination shows so much about the voting committee.


I think she was too new for the Some Hearts era for her to get the nomination.

Its like the committee doesn't consider debut smash eras (Poor a certain other praised Country male artist on this forum)

But she was EVERYWHERE in 2007.

...then again when was the last time Carrie had a smash era like Some Hearts?
